Letter to Grandma

LI: To vary our sentence lengths to create pace and impact.

Me and my partner are using reading text from ‘The Boy in the Stripe Pyjamas’ to use our sentence knowledge creativly and in context. So what we are doing is we are pretending to be Bruno in his perseptive or his view, we are writing a informal letter to grandma. We did this by using simple,Compund and Complex sentences it helped us alot in adding depth and deatils into the letter. Simple sentences are made by one indepented cause for example “I love Ice Cream’ that is what we call a simple sentence, however compound sentences are made by not 1 but 2 independent causes and we use FANBOYS to Connect it like a Bridge for example  I love Ice Cream BUT I like choclate more. Complex Sentences are made by 1 completed thought and one uncompleted thought and a bridge to remember these which is A WHITE BUS
